Nemesis, often referred to as BigFig, is a recurring boss character in various video games, most notably the Resident Evil series. Introduced in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, he serves as the primary antagonist.

Nemesis is a Tyrant-class bio-weapon created by Umbrella Corporation's European branch. His purpose is to eliminate all remaining members of S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Service) to cover up Umbrella's involvement in the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City.

Unlike previous Tyrant models, Nemesis is equipped with advanced intellect and the ability to use weapons, including a rocket launcher and a flamethrower. He is also incredibly resilient, able to withstand significant damage and regenerate. His relentless pursuit of Jill Valentine, one of the protagonists, throughout the game is a defining characteristic of his character.

The character's menacing presence and constant pursuit have cemented Nemesis as one of the most iconic and terrifying villains in video game history.
